93 points James Suckling-Very cabernet franc nose with currants, leaves and tobacco, following through to a medium-bodied palate with a very fluid and silky mouth-feel. The tannins are beautifully integrated, giving the delicious fruit a free run through the finish. Not a big wine, but extremely well crafted and fluid. Cabernet franc, merlot and cabernet sauvignon. From organically grown grapes. Delicious. Irresistible now.

93 points Wine Spectator-This red shows precision and focus to its black currant, black cherry, rosemary, bell pepper and iron aromas and flavors. Linear and intense, with fine equilibrium and a solid structure. Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Syrah. Drink now through 2030.

The Vermentino Tenuta Le Colonne of Dievole winery comes from 100% Vermentino grapes harvested towards the end of August. The vineyards are located on the slopes facing south west, whose soils are characterized by a mainly sandy composition, which gives the wine excellent minerality.

Grapes: 100% Vermentino

Farming: Organic

Soil: In a sandy soil, faced to West

Winemaking:  After the soft pressing of the grapes, alcoholic fermentation takes place, which takes place for about 12 days in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of 18 ° C. The wine is then left to refine on its fine lees for about 3 months and, finally, it is then filtered and bottled.

Tasting notes: Bright straw yellow in the glass, the aromas of white-fleshed fruit emerge, among which the ripe apple and peach stand out, which turn towards citrus and herbaceous notes. The sip is fresh, invigorating and delicate, with a clearly perceptible minerality.

It is the ideal wine to pair with fish appetizers, as well as an excellent vegetable-based first course. Try it with a risotto flavored with herbs.
